Gina Dexter Bio

I teach 7th and 8th grade Language Arts here at the middle school. I studied English at the University of Iowa, teaching at Iowa Wesleyan College, and began my career teaching English at Louisa-Muscatine. My husband and I live in Wayland and have three boys and three girls, of which only our youngest daughter is still at home. Whew! We also now have seven grandchildren! I chose to teach not only for my love of books, but because of my compassion for teens, particularly this age level. I never stop feeling blessed to have a part in their learning process.
