Lincoln Davis Bio

My name is Linc Davis and I have been teaching at Mt. Pleasant since August of 2000. Prior to that I taught in Fairfield and Albia at the High School level. I currently teach mostly 8th grade Science, but also 7th grade Science and Health. I have coached football, wrestling, and track, although I am not currently doing so right now. I was born and graduated from Mt. Pleasant, and my pride in the Panthers runs deep.

I graduated from Iowa Wesleyan College after brief stints at two other universities. I realized that I wanted to further my education and carry on the tradition of being a lifelong learner. I then completed my graduate program with a Master’s in Educational Administration from Viterbo University. I enjoy working with students in the classroom, but I hope to one day continue that work as an administrator.

I enjoy spending quality time with my family. I follow the Hawkeyes, Rams, and Cardinals, as sports has been a big part of my life. I spend a lot of time chasing my kids around and supporting them in their extra-curricular activities. My hobbies include following football and wrestling events, bicycling, hunting, archery, and golf. I spend a lot of time at American Outdoors, which is a hunting, archery, and paintball pro-shop.
